Travel
How do I travel from the USA to Brazil for this trip?
You book your own international flight to Brazil. You can arrive directly at Brasília International Airport, or land at Guarulhos International Airport (São Paulo) and take a connecting flight to Goiânia or Cuiabá.
Which airports can I use?
Brasília International Airport (direct arrival option), or Guarulhos International Airport with a connection to Goiânia or Cuiabá.
Are airport transfers included?
Yes. The package includes a private round-trip transfer to and from the destination airport, and our team accompanies you during boarding and disembarkation.
How do we get around during the trip?
Groups of more than 6 people travel by van. Groups of fewer than 6 travel by pickup truck.
Season and package
When is the fishing season?
Sport fishing runs from March to September. From October to February we offer ethno-tourism and ecological tourism only — no sport fishing.
How long is the package?
5 days of fishing and 6 nights: 3 days on the Sete de Setembro River and 2 days on the Xingu River.
How many guests can join?
A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 24 people.

Fishing
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
Fishing equipment and bait are included. If you prefer to bring your own gear, tell our team when you book.
What species can I catch?
Jaú, pirarara, piraíba, cachara, trairão and other species.
Is the fishing license included?
Yes, the fishing license is included.
What's on the boat?
A fishing guide, a boat with a 30 HP motor and unlimited fuel, fishing equipment, bait, cooler, drinks, snacks and life jackets.
Stay and culture
Are meals included?
Yes, meals are included in the package.
Is there an open bar?
Yes, the package includes an open bar.
What is the accommodation like?
Double and single suites with box beds, air conditioning, minibar, Wi-Fi, TV and room cleaning, plus a swimming pool. On the Xingu days you stay at an advanced base in Indigenous-style accommodation.
What happens during the Xingu experience?
You fish during the day and stay at an advanced base near Indigenous villages. At night there are cultural presentations, traditional dances and Indigenous cuisine, with a guided cultural experience.
